Field Testing
Voloair two-stage air filters can be used during home renovations, construction, and hobbies. Check out some of the real-world examples below to see our air filters in action.
Renovations put a large amount of dust and debris into the air. At right, a box fan equipped with our two-stage air filter kit collects dust during sanding and drywall installation.
Voloair two-stage air filter (construction) start to finish. In the middle of the winter in 22-degree weather our company replaced a furnace, started up heat and installed a two-stage air filter before sheet rocking to keep the duct system from getting contaminated. One filter lasted through out the whole operation of sheet rocking and sanding. The two-stage air filter did an amazing job on keeping the ducts clean while the system was running.-Take a look at all the dust & debris the air filter withheld
Here, our two-stage air filter box fan conversion kit was used during a boat repair which gets very messy. The filter reduced the amount of dust and debris circulating in the air. Some individuals might not know the tiny particles from sanding the boat are very harmful to breathe in. Safety is key.
The Voloair two-stage air filter box fan conversion kit keeps hobbies and projects cleaner and safer. Check out the after math of sanding down the boat. The two-stage air filter helped trap an enormous amount of dust and debris while getting the project done safely and efficiently.
Traditional accordion air filters clog up quickly and restrict airflow. Accordion air filters were designed with a folded specific pattern and thicker surface area. This design reduces and restricts air flow which causes the center media to clog faster, along with boosting energy usage causing your electric bill to spike. While the center media collects debris and dust the sides around the pleated filter will cave inwards. You can hear the whistling sound it makes when the center media caves slightly inwards the debris and contaminates go around the filter into the duct system. This will cause debris to circulate throughout your living space. Demonstrated in the video below.
